Guess Who I Am

Jumping Jellybeans started in SPICES in October this year. Our children enjoyed the sessions very much. In each session, the children are exposed to various aspects of music and movement. They also get to experiment with different mediums – scarves, masks, fans…

See the results for yourself – I kid you not !

Is that really me ?? Do you recognise the face behind the purple mask ? And who is that mysterious princess with the masked plume ?

Teachers got their chance too – guess who is who ?

Hey, look at me! I look fantabulous, don’t you agree ??

Then it was time to move……   flowing robes and shimmering masks – pure fun and lots of laughter….

Early Communication Skills

Early Communication begins with the simple need to express a desire. A want. A need. A dislike. It isn’t necessarily verbal. We work on this primarily in younger children while building on speech.

Children learn to say “I’m hungry” by touching his or her stomach. They request something that they like by signing “I want”.

Children learn simple makaton to express themselves.

Here are some useful links for parents wanting to communicate better with their child:
