A Visit to Royal Selangor Pewter

In September 2011, our School Age programme (SAP) children visited the Royal Selangor Pewter Showroom (RS).

Four weeks earlier the teachers prepared a social story for the children.  Social stories are commonly used to guide children with special needs to learn about appropriate behaviours.  Please visit SOCIAL STORIES for full details of our social story.

A tour guide took us around the complex and explained the various functions of the different sections. Not surprisingly, our children were orderly and toured the complex without a mishap. They were naturally curious and tried their hands at hammering.

We had cakes and tea at the cafeteria  after all the walking. We were joined by Datin Chen.  It was a tiring but fun day for them.  Our appreciation to the staff and management at the Royal Selangor Pewter Showroom who made our visit possible.
