How to Make Play Dough
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 ½ cups of water
- ½ pkt of fine salt
- 30gm of cream of tartar
- 2 table spoon cooking oil
- food colouring
1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl with a hand whisk.
2. Make a well in the middle and slowly add water and mix well with hand whisk.
3. Add the cooking oil and food colouring and mix well.
4. Cook the batter in a pot or wok at a very low temperature, stirring all the time.
5. As the batter cooks it will harden to become a dough.The colour will change. 
6. Remove the dough from pot and knead while dough is hot for about 5 minutes.
7. Cover the dough with a cloth to cool before storing in a tight container.
8. Do not refrigerate dough.

Early Communication begins with the simple need to express a desire. A want. A need. A dislike. It isn’t necessarily verbal. We work on this primarily in younger children while building on speech.
Children learn to say “I’m hungry” by touching his or her stomach. They request something that they like by signing “I want”.

Deep Blue Sea Adventure
Another idea to share for Art & Craft activities. Try our 3D deep blue sea adventure. Just follow the guide below to complete this masterpiece.
Materials needed:
1 pre-folded art paper, paint (preferably blue / green and yellow / red), paint brush, pre-drawn and cut fishes, pre-cut sea grass, sea shells and glue.
STEP 1: Paint the folded art paper with blue or / and green tempera paste using a brush. Make sure the art paper is taped to the newspaper / table cloth before painting. Leave it to dry.
STEP 2: Now, paint the pre-cut fishes with yellow and red paint using a brush. Leave it to dry.
STEP 3: Paste the painted fishes with glue followed by the pre-cut sea grass and sea shells. Leave it to dry.
When it is done, hold it with both hands and move it front and back to create the moving waves of the deep blue sea, with the fishes swimming in it!
