ABA Workshop

SPICES  conducted a four day  workshop on ABA in April 2012. There were 15 participants ; 10 parents 3 teachers and 2 volunteers.

During the four day workshop (7th, 14th, 21st and 28th), participants learned  how to manage their children’s behaviours and how to assess  the functions of  behaviours. They did small group discussions, planning and role play.  They also learned how to do a task analysis for some daily routines.

Sessions were interactive and relaxed.  Most of the participants stayed back after lunch to get to know each other better. They also had  many questions to ask the trainers.  We were reminded to press on with our children and “Never, never, never give up!”  -Winston Churchill-
